The positives might outweigh the negatives,
This review is from: Red Ergo-Sof PenAgain Pens (Office Product)
Positives:1. It does make a significant difference in keeping your hand from getting tired when you write a lot. Negatives: 1. The pocket clip, which you push slightly to one side to loose the retractable tip, wears out the edge of the tiny hook that keep the tip retracted and the writing point exposed, so the tip pops out spontaneously while you're trying to write and covers the writing point. Very annoying. 2. The metallic paint on my pen chipped off a little in the most-touched places, exposing the gray plastic underneath. 3. That price...ouch. Don't forget to take into account the shipping!

Good Intention, Not the Best Invention,

I've been using "the other ergonomic pen" but was hoping to find a product that was retractable - ergo, PenAgain. However, the angle needed to write with a PenAgain ballpoint was very unnatural, almost perpendicular to the paper, and the wishbone portion didn't fit my index finger making my thumb the stresspoint.

Great Little Pen, Fun too!,

This pen is so very comfortable to use! First attracted by the bright color, I was quickly drawn in by a whole lot more. This is now my pen of choice. I would rather write with it than any other writing utensil I know of, because it actually relaxes my hand as I write. It is light-weight. Softly fits onto the pads of my fingers, and conforms easily around my index finger. I enjoy the "soft" feel of it as I write. Retracting the pen tip is easy, and though a bit stiff to use, the pocket clip is handy. I'll be trying the highlighter next. Thanks so much Roche and Ronsse, Keep up the great work!

I've actually been really happy with my PenAgain. I've had a long history of repetitive strain/tendinitis from keyboard overuse/misuse & excessive gripping of writing implements, causing hand cramps, and this just seems to remove all that excess tension. I also love the stylus, and it makes using my Palm a breeze. My only complaint is that I'd like one that can switch between stylus and pen, but I'm just going to get a second one to use solely as a stylus.

Like it,
This review is from: Red Ergo-Sof PenAgain Pens (Office Product)
I'm a lefty who had developed terrible writing habits, mostly out of neglect and also from poor hand position which let to cramping. As part of my determination to improve my writing I got this pen, and I like it a great deal. It is very comfortable to write with. The difference is especially noticeable when I pick up a pen after using the penagain for several months. It really is a dramatic difference.

Wow. When I first saw this pen, I really didn't know what to expect as to how it would write and if it was refillable or not. When I bought this pen from Amazon, I pretty much tore up the package and realized it came with 2 extra refills. How sweet is that??? I mean... I've bought some crazy looking pens that don't even come with one refill!Anyway... I wrote 3 essays during finals week and my hands didn't even hurt after writing them. It might take a little getting used to when you first get the pen, but overall... this pen is great if you don't want your hand getting all cramped up during an essay or a letter... Price-wise, it seems within its range... however, I think these ergo-sof pens should be sold for 2.99 the most. I love this pen to death, but when I'm buying a couple pens for friends the price stacks up... :( Honestly, this pen is a great stocking stuffer or small gift to anyone... and you WILL be noticed when you use this pen!

Return to good handwriting,

I almost never handwrite anything anymore. When I recently began a self-development course requiring vast swaths of handwritten exercises, I realized that I had nearly forgotten how! My hand got sore and my writing was a mess. I discovered PenAgain and thought I'd give it a try.It took a page or so of getting used to, but now it's the first writing tool I reach for. My hand doesn't cramp up, and my handwriting looks great because it takes so little energy to control the pen. As a left-hander, I'm always on the lookout for cool tools that aren't right-hand-centric. The PenAgain is completely ambidextrous and a real improvement for me over standard pens.

I got 3 of these along with the yellow highlighters as well and was really excited to get them. I decided on them because I have nerve damage in my right arm and writing, for me, is very uncomfortable (if not downright painful). I was hoping that these pens would help me to write out checks, etc., but I truly see no difference between this pen and a regular pen; other than a different way of holding it. I truly don't think it was worth the extra cost of these pens over a regular, good quality pen. I gave a 3 for the score because I kind of like the yellow highlighters; they are a bit easier for me to use than a regular highlighter. But, as for the pens, I'm sorry to say I see/feel no difference!

I have Fibromyalgia Syndrome and Rheumatoid Arthritis. When I received these pens in my Christmas stocking a few years ago from my boyfriend, I was uncertain if they would really help reduce the pain in my hands caused by writing. I was pleasantly suprised to find they did. By using the weight of my hand and being able to loosen my grip in the pen, I am able to write longer with no pain, quite the accomplisment for a woman who cannot hardly hold a run-of-the-mill Bic pen. I highly, highly recommend this product to anyone with FMS or RA. As the years have progressed, so has my RA; as a college student, I cannot begin to explain how much these pens help me as I take notes in a three-hour-long lecture. My hands no longer cramp because I am not straining them, and my fingers do not hurt because I am not exerting additional pressure on them.

The arthritis in my hands are beginning to become worse. I am a nurse and I do alot of writing, which meant pain. With this pen, just using the index finger saves alot of discomfort. The pen fits comfortably and my hand does not stiff up. Thankyou for a wonderful product.
