Amazon price for a box of 100 folders is unbeatable. But I found them to be thinner than the Smead or the higher grade Pendaflex. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. Good value, but the folders may not hold up as long as the thicker ones.

I've recently been trying to review more products as I count on reviews to help make some decisions.

Like many people, I buy more and more things online at on Amazon. It's a bit of an 'art' to know perhaps which things you might be better off NOT buying online the first time but just reordering a product once you are familiar with it.

I'm trying to get an early start on Spring Cleaning and organizing and am finally ready to start filing and making some organization out of boxes of seemingly random paper.

I ran out of file folders and quickly ordered some two days ago. They arrived quickly as usual.

I didn't give the purchase much thought as how good or bad could they really be?

Well, after opening the box, it didn't take more than 2 seconds to see that these file folders are extremely cheaply made and are clearly second rate.

I compared them to the ones I have always used and the cardboard they are made with is substantially thinner, the finish is rough and you can practically tear them in half was a hard look.

They would be good to use on a project you plan on throwing away..

I'm pretty annoyed at myself for buying such inferior product that now I have to return.

As said, certain products need to be used or known before you just buy them online...

These file folders tear very easily and I doubt could be of lower quality.

Thus marks a new low in my reviewing history! Reviewing file folders!

These are sturdy folders that are great for everyday home use. I don't find them to be flimsy and yet they could be heavier. I am sure they will hold up well for my purposes as I am in the process of organizing all my paperwork and will be filing away user guides for all my appliances and electronics. I am very pleased with the way they were packaged and arrived in the 2 day shipping time frame.

I am a recent Amazon guy and I can't tell you how happy I am that I found this deal. As for the file folders...they are file folders. Just as strong as the ones I use at work. No tax, cheap price, quick shipment = happy customer.

These are manilla left center and right tab assorted folders of 100. They are a great bargain for the price and aren't as heavy as say Mead folders. That being said, They are fine for general filing of papers and letters. A great buy for someone who needs alot of files at a low price.

Inexpensive and serviceable. Best of all, not only three tabs but also three folds for expanding. I always find the expansion of the two-fold type to be either too small or too large. Three is just right for some reason. I speak from vast experience.

I do a lot of filing - at home and at work. And I've always preferred my manila files - with tabs -- in only the first position.

I think it's easier to read - and looks more organized as well.

Over time, all of the office superstores in my area - have discontinued this as an item.

Luckily, I found it on Amazon -- for a great price - with Amazon Prime free shipping. Halleluiah!

Why go searching at retail - when I can have it delivered to my house - in just a few days?

Hey, I'm a simple gal. I always like it .. in the same position. If you're like me . . get these tabs. Enjoy.

Folders were clean, fresh, and folded correctly. They have an expansion space for larger number of papers.

I'm like the other reviewer, Aaryanna. A few years ago i hired someone to help me to learn to organize stuff and one of the many valuable things she taught me was a filing system which included manila folders like these, with the tabs only in the first position. Like the other reviewer, i find it easier to see and not chaotic. I bought these folders at my local Staples. After a few years of this, one day i went to Staples to get the folders and they didn't have any. They said they don't carry them any more. I don't get this. They have many different brands of boxes of folders with the three different tab positions. How many choices do they need? It was frustrating but i was happy to find them on Amazon, they are a necessity for me. I don't know if it was this brand that i found on Amazon the first time, maybe a year ago, i don't think it was prime shipping. These that that i'm getting today are a great deal, great price with prime shipping and i don't have to make a trip to Staples. They have definitely lost some business by deciding not to carry these folders in my case because i'm the type that if go to Staples for folders, i'll buy other stuff too including stuff i might not even need. Instead, they apparently would rather give people who want all three tab positions a huge wealth of choices of brands rather than make room for even one option of this kind of folder. Personally, i haven't found any difference from one brand to another so i don't really understand this but i guess they did me a favor, me and Amazon. i think this is partly why internet shopping is putting some stores out of business and contributing to unemployment. oh well.
