Single - Toxic Love, January 4, 2002
This review is from: Pendulum 05-Road Rage (Audio CD)
I don't claim to be a juggalo, I listen to ICP for strictly comical reasons... they're funny. They have good gimicks, and the balls to actually play on those gimicks. Saying that...
The Pendulum series of comics aren't great comics by any means... created by chaos! comics (the people who brought you lady of death) the storylines are your basic juggalo .... At times amusing, but not as funny as I thought they would be.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the clowns... I enjoyed the comics, but they weren't what I thought they would be as far as storyline and the graphics weren't up to chaos! usual standards.
BUT! The singles that go along with the comics are fantastic... all shortcomings of the comics are forgotten when you listen to the accompaning music. Some of my favorite ICP songs hail form this twelve part series. At the top of that list, this volume's single "Toxic Love". About the mishaps of ... literally, low-down dirty women.
Anyhow, this gets five stars not for the comic but for the single.
Faygo forever! Heh.

Wow, November 4, 2000
This review is from: Pendulum 05-Road Rage (Audio CD)
Once again they amaze me with their persistence in putting out fresh new tunes. The Pendulum series is one of the best comic/cd's put out in the US. another must for any Juggalo or Ninja. 5 starz dog.
