A grim beginning,

This, the first of a 53 book series, introduces us to Mark Hardin and his quest for justice. More of an everyman than other series heroes, Hardin takes on a Mafia-Red China heroin pipeline and brings it crashing down, but loses his love in the battle. This is exciting action adventure with a most effective hero.
