Bad taste, no energy boost noted.,

This 'orange' gum tastes very synthetic & bad. At least the taste doesn't last much longer than a few minutes, and then it's just a tasteless wad that I can chew to keep my jaw moving.

Waste of money, go back to Jolt gum,

I ordered this thinking there would be at least some caffiene. I was wrong. Then I thought maybe the taurine and guarana would give me some kind of energy boost. Nothing happened except the stale taste of rotten oranges. I'm going to spend another 15$ on a box of Jolt gum now because I know it actually works.

The flavor was fine but it didn't last for more than a few minutes. I didn't get any energy boost from this gum. The tin container is made in China which these days at least makes you think.

Slight buzz but it lingers,

The buzz didn't hit me right away but it lingers. I'm a coffee drinker so I equate the feeling from this gum to drinking tea - it slowly gives me energy but not right away like coffee. One piece is not enough - I usually have two every couple of hours. The gum tastes like skittles for the first couple of minutes and then goes completely bland. This may be useful in places where coffee isn't allowed:tests/class/library. Keep it in your bag just in case. If you're at home, you'd be better off with coffee and espresso.

I like the taste of this gum. It's my favorite of the Penguin gum line. Two or three pieces of this gum helps keep me more alert during meetings. However, a single piece of gum does not give me a noticeable energy boost. The Penguin mint line advertises that 3 mints contain the caffeine equivalent of a typical caffeinated cola. I don't know how many of these Chicklet shaped pieces have the equivalent taurine and guarana of a Red Bull, but I suspect you need more than a few. Unlike Penguin mints, this gum is not caffeinated. If you want a caffeine buzz, check out Penguin mints Penguin Caffeinated Mints - Peppermints 1.75 ounce tin. I heartily recommend both products.

I love this delicious orange gum. Unlike some other reviews, I think the flavor lasts a long time. The containers are great for saving stuff in, also.

Sugar-free portable, natural energy gum. What a great idea. Great ctirus flavor, I think I'll take 1 tin for my briefcase, 1 for my car, 1 for my Uncle Buck the Truck Driver, 1 for my niece Sally in College (finals week!) and maybe a 12-pack for my nephew's company serving in Iraq!

Besides literally losing its flavor in less than 30 seconds, I have noticed no significant energy boost from this gum.
