ANSWER A QUESTION WITH A QUESTION SERIES....,

This review is from: Penguin Dictionary of Indian Classical Music (Paperback)
This dictionary is fine, provided you don't mind searching for clues and you already know something about Indian Classical Music in general.
It's one of those dictionaries that you have to look up the word, then look up 2 or more other words to understand the word you already looked up, and sometimes those other words can't be defined. For example, I am currently studying "Raag Yaman". At the end of the book, in the "Y" section is " Yeman" as well as "Yeman Kalyan"...except there is no defintion for "Kalyan"... I'm not saying that's bad or good, but I'd have prefered a little more depth, myself. It is....what it is....I guess.
