I teach 4th grade, and this is quick to play, requires no fancy scorekeeping, can have up to six players, and is just as much fun for the mainstreamed special guests we have at recess as for the honor roll regulars, social isolates, and gregarious stars. There is not an inside recess period when I don't feel like we are getting our money's worth from the penguins.

We've had this game roughly six months, and my five year old is interested in playing it occasionally, but it's not one of those games he wants to play again and again. I don't think it's as engaging as some of the other games we've got (like the Cranium ones), so he gets a little bored with it.

Given the March of the Penguin Movie causing Penguin Mania I purchased this game for my five year old nephew and he enjoys it very much..

As other reviewers have mentioned, the game is easy to set-up and put away. I took off one star mainly because the penguins occasionally fall into the crack between the wobbling iceberg and the stable platform and are difficult to remove. In addition, my son gets frustrated with the game very quickly, since a falling penguin can potentially take the other penguins down with him. I'm trying to teach him to relax, but six-year-olds cannot always be persuaded that life will go whether the penguins remain upright or not. We've learned to play a few quick rounds and then try a different activity entirely.

Not sure what happened, but I received my daughter's gift in the mail today. There were no penguins in the box, and but the packaging looked original with no tampering. Beware, if you're ordering from Imaginarium! What a disappointment this was for us.
