I bought this as a gag gift for someone else, and decided to keep it for my own collection. It's amazing how quickly people will pick it up - usually in disbelief and laughing out loud. The book's got tons of pictures, hilarious captions and a few stories. And it's all on this one little (or big!) thing. It'll definitely have you laughing out loud.

What a fun gift I received! At first I was shocked when I saw the title, but all it took was a few pages and I was hooked. I may be a grandma, but I'm no fogey and this book is definitely more fun than candy and flowers. I loved the interview with the lady who works on the "hopping penis" assembly line. I couldn't believe what they do with foreskins after they cut them off. So what if I'll never understand why anybody would pierce their penis, I learned a lot about the subject. And we loved the guy who posed for the jockstrap story. I'm going to buy a few copies for my friends. (If I pass my copy around, I'll never get it back.)

A most enjoyable book that is funny, entertaining...and even educational. There were things in there I had no idea!! For all to enjoy....females and males a like! (A great gift!!)

I know some women think penises are ugly. I think they're amazing! Finally, somebody's written a book about "dingalings" that's funny and crammed with facts and beautiful to look at on every page. My best friend bought me The Penis Book and I've bought it for five of my girlfriends who share my phallic fancies. And where did they find that hunk on the back cover? Yummy.

This is the perfect coffee table book. Not only will it be a conversation piece, but it will be the life of any party with its humor.

Loaded with "read between the lines" type humor, THE PENIS BOOK proves to be quite insightful, answering some questions that you were always too afraid to ask. From ancient Japanese fertility rituals to modern-day circumcisions, this book has it all. Hilarious pictures, funny captions, and a few entertaining stories grace the pages of this short book. It is very easy to read, and on the whole, the book is designed nicely.

THE PENIS BOOK is done very tastefully, and you can't help but be intrigued by the incredible facts presented. It is a very entertaining read that is sure to make you laugh out loud.

this is the kind of book one would buy for the coffee table, or entertaining friends. it's fun, easy to read(and view), with interesting facts and informative insight, it answers questions that everybody thinks about at sometime! it's done tastefully and should be noneffensive (even if you're a prude-its not porn!)to most, wether youre gay/straight/male/female.i only wish it was a bigger book! :)

I loved this book...and then it disappeared. I bought several copies of The Penis Book when it first was published and it turned out to be a wonderful gift...very funny, sexy, stylish and a great deal. My gay buddies loved it. My female friends had a field day picking out their favorite penises and stories. And then, out of nowhere, the book disappeared. But, I guess patience pays off because the new Penis Book is even better with plenty of new material and some of my favorite sections from the original version. It's a big buffet of penis facts, with lots of unexpected pictures and drawings. It's tremendous fun and smart all at once.

My girlfriend gave me The Penis Book for my 40th birthday and it was the hit of my party. Everybody started passing the book around and reading their favorite section out loud. We all thought the penis man stand-up comic was terrific. The centerfold was a real eye-opener. And the entry about the great circumcision controversy triggered a pro and con debate that went on for over an hour. There's an incredible amount of information in this book. The photos and artwork are a real class act. The Penis Book is a lot more than its title might suggest.

The Penis Book by Joseph Cohen is clever,amusing, and very informative. It offers everything you wanted to know about the male organ, but may have been afraid to ask. It even includes information you never would have thought to ask! The book's graphic design is sharp and modern, which is appropriate since parts of the book are quite graphic! It's a great book for fun for yourself, and a humorous gift for others--not for the kiddies, though.

My congratulations to Joe Cohen for creating this unabashedly irreverent book celebrating man's most vulnerable part. The Penis Book is smartly designed, with beautiful graphics, enlightening information, and nonstop entertainment. I loved that I even found the Danish word for penis in there! Helt Fantastisk !! I highly recommend it.
