I thoroughly enjoyed this book, "Penis Gourds and Moscow Muggings, " and I look forward to more of the same. Written in a style reminiscient of Richard Feynman's "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!", the stories reveal a certain insatiable curiosity about the world and a desire to bridge the gaps (and occasional chasms) which separates one culture from another. The photographs are, of course, first rate. |
