5.0 out of 5 stars best prison movie since caged heat 2!, February 23, 2000
By
This review is from: Penitentiary 3 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
this is one of the best movies ever. the character of "the midnight thud", played by the haiti kid was tremendous. truely an inspiration to us all. it made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me never want to go to prison and have my manhood taken by a miget with a studed collar on.

3.0 out of 5 stars Straight Garbage, August 6, 2004
By
This review is from: Penitentiary 3 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This movie is such pure garbage, it's hilarious.. You can't help but to laugh at a vicious midget who is caged in the bottom of a prison, then let out to attack other inmates on occasion. The midget acts like an animal for the first 40 minutes of the movie, then all of a sudden turns into a spiritual and intellectual midget guru who decides to train the main character,'Too Sweet' for a big prison fight.

The most comical scene is when Too Sweet gets locked in the prison dungeon for a couple of months, then gets visited by a fellow inmate. Too Sweet procedes to act like a raving idiot because he's been isolated for so long.. It's truly a pathetic scene that is a disgrace to acting, but it's funny as heck though. Just buy the movie for laughs!

2.0 out of 5 stars Prison Drama Turned Comedy, January 12, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Penitentiary 3 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Just like the first two "Penitentiary" movies, Leon Isaac Kennedy ends up falsely accused and back in prison again. The plot keeps building up fear of "The Midnight Thud". When Kennedy asks another con about "The Thud" he replies..."You'll be sleeping in your rack about midnight when the cell door opens. You hear a thud and then your manhood is gone." But when you see "The Thud", this movie turns into a comedy. He's a black midget they keep in a basement cell, feeding him a constant diet of cocaine and porn films. When he comes to get Kennedy it looks like a monkey trying to rip Kennedy's ears off. It's hilarious. Don't miss it.
