These reels are well made, cool looking, and smooth. I fish for freshwater catfish and these reels are working extremely well so far. I have them loaded with 30 lb. test line and they cast great. I have only owned them for a month but in my opinion these are some of the best reels for fresh and saltwater for the price. They are part of the newest line of Penn reels out there and so far I love the two I bought! Thanks Penn for continuing to make good quality equipment.

Reel is smaller than I thought but Works great, glad I bought it... Tough reel and greet for good size Yellowtail.

I ordered this reel thinking I was going to get the same reel as I saw in the picture, which was a penn fierce 6000; however this was not the case. It was a penn fierce 3000 instead. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!! This was suppose to be a present for my father for Christmas,and if I would have known ahead of time that I was got going to receive the reel in the photo I would have went somewhere else.
