I ordered this Rod for a christmas gift from Bestbuystores.com.

Package arrived yesterday and instead of getting the 11' PENN Rod I ordered, they sent me some cheap piece of junk rod and reel combo that you can at WalMart for $30.00.
The Rod I ordered was 11'. The thing they sent was about 7'
What a scam.

I think this guy couldn't deliver the goods I ordered at the price I paid and then decided to ship "something" hoping I would be satisfied.

I am very upset at this.

I own the 9 footer and it is a great rod. Only problem I have with it, is the power pro I use started to dig into the first guide so now I just use mono with no problems. I have caught quiet few 8-15 pound stripers, many a blue, largest was around 12-15 pounds, a few 3-5 pound fluke and the rod held up very well. Plenty of backbone for fighting fish and throwing 4 ounces and bait but light enough to fish for hours at a time without getting tired or sore, even when plugging. The rod loads well and casts very well. All in all, a very nice rod at a great price and would recommend to anyone just starting out and a lifetime salty.
