geared towards a younger crowd, mainly those who still have an open mind and have some sort of education. this show does offer opinions as well as fact in a way that would make many upset.

This DVD pack was delivered timely and in perfect condition, it was properly packaged for shipment unlike many sellers who simply throw your product into an envelope and let the US postal service destroy it.

As an atheist I came across this show and hoped it would be something along the likes of Derren Brown. It wasn't. Penn is very preachy and alot of the time it seems as if they merely have a bias and then find convenient information to back it. Even the information of subjects I agreed with were poorly supported and lacked more content. The people who oppose his views seem to be depicted in a weird fashion and it seems they chose these people predominantly because they would make a lazy viewer side against them. With the death penalty for example he cites a former holocaust survivor who is against it as a credit to her argument but you probably have plenty of holocast survivors who would love to see their former torturers executed. It was particularly troubling when Penn kept talking about how one was killing a "person." I dont consider a multiple child rapist/killer to be a human. I consider them to be a monster in flesh form. Their arguments seem to be based more on hyperbole and emotional sensationalism. This series isnt PBS or the Discovery Channel nor does it have the best evidence and examination of the issues featured. One suspects selective quotes, hidden information and non-objective scrutiny of facts/sources. The one on manners was simply immature and short-sighted. The manners episode seemed to rest more on what revolves arond them and their philosophy on eating rather than anything objective. It seemed quite hypocritical to suggest we dont follow their rules but we have to follow Penn and Tellers eating rules. I particularly disagreed with their prostitution episode. Do they really think legalizing prostitution will stop rape of sex workers and sexual double standards? It hasnt wherever its been legalized and if anything legalizing prostitution is an extension of double standards, ie, woman (majoritively) as sex object. His rationalizing was rather crass where he figured because he didnt look that good he would get less attractive women so therefore he should be able to buy or rent these "attractive" women. I later read how Penn is a libertarian. Perhaps the sole purpose of this DVD series is to get you to realize that the biggest B@LL-SH&T of all is buying this series? Stick to Derren Brown which is more interesting and informative.
