There are beautiful woods, forests, lakes, waterfalls, mountains, and valleys. There is the Pocono Mountains vacation area. There are the cities of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton which have some amazing architecture and some tastes of the many cultures of the immigrants who settled here. And, there is the quiet beauty of the Endless Mountains and of Rickets Glen State Park.

This is a year-round area to visit. In October, the fall foliage can be a magnificent golden color. In April-May-June, the temperatures are warming and spring flowers bloom. There is skiing in Dec.-Jan-March. And there is summer relaxation on the lakes. There is fishing, hunting, golf, camping, and other activities. Also, there are many tourist attractions, including museums and local events. There are good bargains here for tourists

This book will give a wonderful sampling of sights that will make you want to come and visit. I recommend this book.
