This review is from: Penny: The Story of a Free-Soul Basset Hound (Hardcover)
As an owner of several Basset Hounds, I can say that I enjoyed this book very much. Mr. Borland truly captured the essence of the quirky basset personality.I must point out that this book disturbed me quite a bit. The dog was allowed to roam freely, and was put in great danger many times. Basset hounds (as well as other dogs) should not be permitted to roam the countryside at will. |
