Lovely voice and wonderful arrangements..., September 1, 2000

I bought this album at a used CD store after listening to it briefly in the store. I was intrigued with the fact that it has several tracks in Catalan and one in what appears to me to be a dialect of Italian, maybe Corsican? Anyway the lyrics of some of the songs are very meaningful (La Abuela) and the violin of Helmut Lipsky sings wonderfully. I keep putting it on when I get home from work and always find it soothing (except for one rather raucous tract). If you like beautiful music, try it, you will like it.
