To those of you who read Shadow Lover and thought the sex scene was HOT, wait until you read this book. You will not put it down. I suggest you get a copy. It's worth it. As a matter of fact, I think anyone who enjoyed Addicted, will like this book also.

FANTASTIC! Not With My Son, by Hope C. Clarke is riveting, thrilling and very exotic! Keesha Smalls is an attractive and successful businesswoman who has everything except a man! Chris Walker gorgeous and is at the top of the corporate ladder, admires and yearns for Keesha unfortunately there is one problem. She is best friends with his mother, Christine! Keesha finds herself in a sultry uncompromising position when Chris stops by to visit and confesses his love. Pandora's Box is opened and forbidden passion emerges. Keesha and Chris

ALL I CAN SAY IS, THIS BOOK SHOULD BE A MOVIE. AUDIO TAPES OR CD'S WOULD WORK FOR ME. THIS BOOK IS A SURE WINNER. THIS IS DEFINITLY HOPES BEST WORK. LOVE, SEX,AND MURDER IT'S ALL THERE.

WARNING: This book should be read in a cool invironment. If you don't have a man or a access to a.....Do not read this book. I think it was very nice of the author to send the book with a marker. At the rate she's going with these books, I think a little fan would be more appreciated.

This book was okay, although at times it was just a little unbelievable. At times, I wanted to yell at some of the characters because of their stupid actions.

Keesha Smalls, a woman in her late 30s finds herself attracted to twenty-one year old Chris Walker. Not only is Chris and Keesha's age a big obstacle between them but Chris happens to be her best friend's son. The story takes you on a ride between should she follow her attraction or should she ignore the strong feelings she is growing for Chris. Pretty soon temptation outweighs all else and they begin a secret love affair. But is the affair really a secret? Will Chris and Keesha new found love be able to stand the situations thrown their way?

Not With My Son was absolutely a shocking read. I stereotyped the book and really wasn't going to give it a shot but I am glad I did. This book had me locked into each chapter until I was done within a matter of a few hours. With all the twist, turns, and definite drama this book would hold the interest of any reader. The plot was really different and it had me surprised in some points which is really good for a non predictable book. A must read as well as the sequels.

Keesha Smalls is a 35 year-old financial planner. She has done well for herself but has not been involved with anyone for a while due to a pass hurt. But every time she runs into her neighbor's son, the sexual attraction is undeniable! But how can she go there? First off...he is way too young. Second...He is her good friend's son! Now he's established a decent career that has him living well, he wants to follow his heart and reach out to Keesha and show her the love he's had for her all this time is real.

Jamal is a successful GYN doctor who has been in love with Keesha ever since they were in school together. With her best friend Ebony being the instigator, Jamal gets a chance to prove to Keesha that he can be the best husband and lover she could ever want. But will she give him the chance?

Michelle Tanner is Chris's ex girlfriend who can't seem to accept that her relationship with Chris is truly over. She is obsessed with getting Chris back, so much so that she's willing to use the oldest trick in the book!

An explosive story filled with love, lust, deceit, jealousy and murder, dripping from each page. Take a trip to Long Island New York, and meet these interesting characters. Read about a triangle of love and deceit that catches a fire and explodes by the end of the story.

A few things that some of the characters did had me wondering if their head was screwed on straight and Chris's last name kept changing from Chris Walker to Chris Warner. But I enjoyed the plot and the surprising twists that make this book a great read.

Fabulous, Exciting, An Excellent read.
Hope does it again! I find it amazing how she can write book after book with such excitment and energy. I read this book and greatly loved it. The characters jumped out at me, as I read Not with my Son! After reading Not with my Son, I recommended it to all of my associates.
