It's a pretty basic concept but it works very well. Different companies make different sized drywall lifters but this is the happy medium. The smaller ones are also narrower and can really dig into the bottom edge of the drywall panel, larger ones are a bit more clumsy and you can't throw them in a tool pouch. This drywall lifter seems to be the happy medium with a wide lifting surface and plenty of leverage for the job. Simple and effective tool.

Works really well hanging any kind of panels. Can be used on both bottom and top runs of paneling.

I had to hang Fifty-Seven sheets of drywall when I did my basement. For the first couple of sheets I used the crowbar with a 2x4. It took to darn long too get that into position and it would damage the bottom part of the drywall sometimes. This tool speeds up the process and it didn't damage the drywall. It worked great for about Fifty Sheets and I will most definetly use this tool again sometime. It was a really good buy for a really good price.

If your broke enough to have to be doing your own drywall (I was), then buy these, a drywall lift, a rasp, screw gun, and a T-square. You won't be sorry. We started a large house and kept adding these necessities as we went.
