This pool heater has never worked properly and Pentair will not stand behind their product. The pilot light starter has never worked. Every service call they start it with a lighter and tell me that the pilot light starters from Pentair never work. The heater has had numerous problems and we've had several service calls this summer alone. They keep replacing defective switches, etc. They were out just last week and it only worked for half a day...we have missed most sunny days this summer because we have to wait all day for a service technician to come out.
