The pentalobe screwdriver was not a pentalobe. It appeared that it was intended to be that shape, but it was completely round. The star shape was etched, but not cut into the tool. WORTHLESS!!

Luckily, the screen I ordered came with tools (which I wasn't expecting). The phone got fixed, but not with this worthless crap.

I ordered this Tuesday morning about 3 A.M. and i received it Thursday. Upon looking at the screwdriver in the package, it looks extremely small, and that it won't fit the screws but it does and it easily unscrews them. Highly reccommend if your iPhone 4 has the pentalobe screws or if you repair them.

Screwdriver works perfect with the iphone 4. It opens my phone without no problems. The screwdriver is also magnetic in which it grabs onto the screws as you unscrew and screw back.

Remember that the older iphone 4's use the 4 point (Phillips) screwdriver, whereas the 2nd generation of iphone 4's use the pentalobe!

This pentalobe repair kit for Iphone 4 works great!! With the help of a Youtube video, I was able to open it up and remove all the little different pieces inside. Unfortunately, was unable to repair phone because it had been dropped in the ocean for 5 minutes. Water flooded the SIM card slot and cooked the hard drive. Found out that a new hard drive is $499. This kit works great to open phone. The price is the cheapest I found and the shipping was well priced too.

I order this pentalobe screw driver and when it showed up the end was completely rounded. It didn't even have the pentalobe etched into the end of it to try and use. It was completely worthless and I now have to wait for another kit. Dont buy here!

I have got 3 of these "made in China" drivers with an order for three new backs of differing finish. All three rounded off when trying to tighten a screw that was stiff with a new back I was replacing. Now I have to buy a fourth one which hopefully is made in the USA with decent steel. It did take the screws out which one might think would warrant it at least a one star but knowing all three failed means that the quality is not up to standard.

The tip of the driver appears to be the right shape and size but it does not fit. The poorly machined tip simply breaks off. This tool is absolutely useless. It doesn't even merit one star. Total piece of s#%!

Excellent for the price. Works fine for occassional use (obviously these aren't enterprise quality tools). The suction cup has a strong chemical smell. Anyone who is complaining that the screwdriver doesn't fit needs to look closely at their phone. There are two different generations of screws on the outside of the iPhone 4. Early ones used small phillips head screws. The newer ones use the five-pointed "pentalobe" screws. This driver is only for the pentalobe ones. And of course you have to be careful. The screws are TINY, so it's easy to damage/strip them if you are sloppy. Used properly these tools work fine.
