5.0 out of 5 stars One of the great Biblical commentators, October 31, 2004
This review is from: The Pentateuch: Trumath Tzvi- Translation of the Text and Excerpts from the Commnentary of Samson Raphael Hirsch with all Haftoroth and the Five Megilloth (Hardcover)
Rabbi Shimshon Raphael Hirsch Z"ts"l is one of the greatest of all Biblical commentators. His interpretations have an element of the sublime and inspiring. He time and again enables us to see the Biblical text in a way which augments our faith and understanding.

Excellent; my wife, for whom I bought it, was very pleased. I only wish it could have arrived for her birthday.
I should point out, as I did to the vendor, that Amazon illustrated the item with the wrong book: J.H. Hertz' Pentateuch instead of S.R. Hirsch's. I had to talk to the company on the phone to make sure I was getting the right one.
