The batteries look exactly like the camera's original battery and work fine with the camera and the recharger.

I bought the EXACT replacement battery for my Pentax camera vs a 'will fit' to get the same performance as the original battery that lasted over 4 yrs. Not so much with this one. Might be old stock that sat on the shelf or even a counterfeit but it only lasted less than a year. Very disappointing. I won't make the same mistake again. I can buy an off brand for a lot less and it will likely last just as long.
