I have two Pentel Energel Gel Ink 0.7 mm pens that had recently run out of ink. One is stamped, "Metal Tip" and the other is stamped "Needle Tip". I purchased the metal tip refills and was delighted to see that it fit in both pens! The savings in purchasing refills is considerable, compared to buying another pen (only $1.22 per refill). Too much goes into land fill and this is a sturdy pen so why not reuse it as much as possible? Because I carry a Pentel Energel pen with me everywhere and have done so for at least two years, if not more, I know that this pen is built to last. Having purchased the refill before, I also knew that the refills are well wrapped and will not dry out. Therefore, I ordered 15 refills. There weren't enough on hand for a single shipment, thus my order was sent in batches (1, 2, 2, 2, 8) without extra charge until the order was complete within roughly three weeks. The pens write fluidly, beautifully, and without blotching. Now I can continue to carry a Pentel Energel pen with me everywhere and always have a spare. As a list-maker and 'ideas' person, I cannot imagine being without this pen! The ink colors available are: black, blue, red, violet and green.

You can shorten these a tiny bit and make them fit in lots of pens, including Waterman's. Way better than any refill Waterman makes.

I LOVE the EnerGel pen, as does everyone who borrows it for a moment (as I make darn sure no one makes off with one!), but they were getting pricey to keep replacing as the ink ran out. I generally have bought them at Target or Staples, but neither place offers the refills (what a surprise). So I have stocked up on the refills and am very happy with them. My pens were origianally needle tip, and even though the packaging listed the refills as LRN7 without the 'A', these refills work perfectly.
