It glides the ink onto the paper with complete control, is weighed perfectly, and no frufru shaft graphics either. This isn't some needle-like metal nib, but more of a brush feeling. There is a time in everyones life where they experience the true joy of writing. On 6/22/2006, I discovered what it felt to truly enjoy the pen you are writing with. After my prior favorite pen, the Pilot Precise V5, had the canister explode during take off (These pens are not designed for flight/travel). I was forced to find a substitute to complete my work. Fortunately for me, the person sitting next to me was gracious enough to allow me to borrow his Rolling Writer Pen. Now when I tell you this, you may need to sit down. When I slowly uncapped the pen and placed the pen onto the paper, I could feel why these pens are recommmended world-wide. It was like a poem, I actually felt true love (for a pen), the way it moved so slowly, and soo smoothly, it was almost romantic in a sense. The pen was graceful with its movement, and far better then any other pen I have EVER recieved. For the next 2 hours I spent with this pen were far from boring! I used her to the most of its ability, confident that when I returned it, the pen would be depleted of its ink, through the writing of my soul! The only part that i regretted was having to return it to its true owner. Before I did however, I thanked him again for giving me this wonderful experience, and giving me hope that when I come home, I will be able to order these online.  Comment | Permalink | Was this review helpful to you?
