So this year I started taking fitness pole dancing classes with a couple of my girlfriends. It's been such an AWESOME experience that I decided to look into buying a pole for myself. I wanted a professional sturdy pole, but there was no way I could afford a $500 X-Pole. My friend suggested this Penthouse pole, having had one herself. I was a little hesitant because I couldn't find many reviews online, but I did a little test run on hers and I loved it. It was also more in my price range.
Overall, I'm completely satisfied and I'd recommend this pole. It's sturdy and easy to install and take down if I need to. I'd say I'm probably at an intermediate level now, but I feel confident this pole will be fine for more advanced moves too. It even came with a pretty cool music cd!

This thing rocks!!! I have been pole dancing for over 3 years now and, I really wanted to get one but there was no way that I could afford a 500 dollar pole. I really took a chance buying this pole and it's totally worth it. The only set back was the rubber parts on the top and bottom don't stay on that well but I took care of that with super glue but otherwise this pole is fantastic for the price and how professional it is! GREAT BUY!

I started a pole dancing class on March 5th and was hooked. Poling has helped me drop 13lbs so far. I had trouble setting up the pole, only because the instructions were very basic. I had my friend's husband come over and set it up. It holds my weight. I'm trying to invert now and haven't had any problems with it coming loose. I have it set up on a hardwood floor. I too will graduate to a higher end pole as I progress and feel the investment will be worth it but in the meantime this pole supports my weight and everything I've chosen to do on it.
