I bought this book for short racy reads and whew, there are all styles of sex covered and more than a few eye openers to the world of what some might call forbidden pleasures.
I write erotic romance ebooks for [...] and from reading this book the old saying 'true life is stranger than fiction' is so right on.
Overall it is an interesting voyeuristic read. I don't think most of these stories could be repeated, they are truely once in a lifetime sexual experiences.
Some will have you grossed out, some will have you laughing - laughing out loud, some will wet your sexual appetite, others will leave you wondering how many people you know are, beneath their calm cool exterior, a sexual pervert. But then that universally recognized word, when applied to a Penthouse book, is subject to a wide range of interpretations.
There's a story of a seduction drawn out to the point of 'is it ever going to happen'? A few stories of paid sex and one endearing one. There's adultry and mild fetishes, singles and swingers and wife swappers. Gay, lesbian and Menage a trois. One night in Bangkok is a great read, the writer who experienced the regional flavor speaks frankly of the little Asian beauty he enjoys. There's a story about a young man's first time and it's set in the 1940's, enmeshing you in time and place.
I rated this book w/five stars because it is what I expected-maybe even a bit more. I hadn't read Penthouse magezine so I wasn't familiar with the stories its readers submit, this book is a great way to read those stories without having to purchase monthly issues.
Penthouse Uncensored VI is the first Penthouse book I've purchased and I'll probably purchase another because of the quick reads and the way Penthouse has left the voice of the writers, for the most part, unedited. In this world of striving perfection it's wonderful to read raw material before some PhD gets their hands on it and changes the grammer to bland English pose.
If you are interested in what other people do sexually, you'll get some real eye popping accounts, but if you're sensitive to this side of human nature you better find something less graphic, trueful and bold. And frankly, you wouldn't be reading anything Penthouse if you are parochialism, would you?
