There are a lot of nice photos in this book. The child actors covered are many, though few were really stars, so the title is a misleading one. There is a little about each one, and the facts are concise, but the writing has all the pzazz of an encyclopedia. I kept falling asleep while reading this.

I'm 40 and I think this was such a great buy. All the child stars I grew up with and remember. It sure brought back great memories. I loved being able to see whatever became of some of those kids like Eve Plumb and Tina Yothers. The stars that are covered span many generations, back from Peter Ostrum (Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory) to child stars who are still stars (Drew Barrymore). It covers groups of child actors, like those in The Brady Bunch and also those who have passed away, like Dana Plato.

It's a great coffee table book. Many of my guests have enjoyed looking through this book. My brother's girlfriend is in her early twenties and doesn't remember many of these stars. Perhaps she is too young. Those of us who are in our 30's and up have all loved it.

Purchased as a gift.

Interseting to find out the wherrabouts of the chid stars we watched.

I gave this to my 32 year old niece and she loved looking through the book, reminiscing, and learning new stuff about actors she had seen as a child. I enjoyed looking through it too!
