5.0 out of 5 stars Want some good rap/hip/hop? December 11, 2012
Format:MP3 Music|Amazon Verified Purchase
Listen to this. Like most rap that I listen to, ranging from gangster rap like Chief Keef and Waka to Blu, Fashawn, and other so-called "real hip-hop" or "socially concious" artists, the one thing i find that's most important is voice and passion. I feel Oddisee's voice on this one. Give it a listen on the youtubes first. It was worth every cent I done spent. Every word was delivered with precision to the vibe-center of my brain.

I have listened to Oddisee on several projects but never a solo album. All I can say is wow this is a great album. Amazing beats smart lyrics and a hip hop artist with something to say. Thank you Oddisee for making an outstanding album. Artists are still making amazing hip hop it just isn't on the radio.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best of 2012 July 18, 2012
Format:MP3 Music
Oddisee always puts out great verses and incredible production between albums so my expectations for this album were high. For the most part, this album met those expectations. Many times, concepts and subject matter in underground hip-hop get cycled around, though that is not the case for this album. Oddisee brings a lot of new perceptions and insight to topics new and old. Production is on point as always. Definitely one of the best albums of 2012 thus far. Favorite tracks (in no order) are Ready to Rock, Do It All, Think of Things, Maybes, American Greed, and Another's Grind; although, you should definitely purchase the whole album.
