Listen to this. Like most rap that I listen to, ranging from gangster rap like Chief Keef and Waka to Blu, Fashawn, and other so-called "real hip-hop" or "socially concious" artists, the one thing i find that's most important is voice and passion. I feel Oddisee's voice on this one. Give it a listen on the youtubes first. It was worth every cent I done spent. Every word was delivered with precision to the vibe-center of my brain.

Oddisee always puts out great verses and incredible production between albums so my expectations for this album were high. For the most part, this album met those expectations. Many times, concepts and subject matter in underground hip-hop get cycled around, though that is not the case for this album. Oddisee brings a lot of new perceptions and insight to topics new and old. Production is on point as always. Definitely one of the best albums of 2012 thus far. Favorite tracks (in no order) are Ready to Rock, Do It All, Think of Things, Maybes, American Greed, and Another's Grind; although, you should definitely purchase the whole album.

This was a delightful album with nice production and heavy substance. I listened to Oddisee before and wasn't impressed at all, but I hear a more mature sound and stronger production this time. The production is very nice, I was very surprised as I never really enjoyed his beats before. The beats have a nice soulful & jazzy appeal, with an upbeat feel. Oddisee performs well with a different perspective on things, with very directional lyrics and a lot of imagery. The more I hear the album, the more I groove to it and enjoy myself. His lyrics are little off my normal wavelength but this is very strong overall. A must listen for serious hip hop listeners.

I have listened to Oddisee on several projects but never a solo album. All I can say is wow this is a great album. Amazing beats smart lyrics and a hip hop artist with something to say. Thank you Oddisee for making an outstanding album. Artists are still making amazing hip hop it just isn't on the radio.

I'm a fan. His work on this project has captured my attention. I've gone back as far as I could, and downloaded as much from a true m.c. as I could. He's not one of the best know rappers, producers, talents but he should be. Move out the way, make room for Oddisee. Great work right into his new Project "The Beauty In All" another must have.

Listen up. I'm a curmudgeon when it comes to my music. I've been a hip hop head since I was a kid. This album is certifiable. I have always felt Oddisee's beats, but his lyrics and flow are on par. And how "par" are the beats? Exceptional. He delivered on this album and the more I listen to it the more impressed I am. This dude is a PRO and I'm more than glad to pay top dollar for this album. He definitely deserved it. And I even notice my girl moving to this and she is usually a HATER!

Please.

Anyone who knows Oddisee knew that this record would be absolutely perfect. Everything he touches is gold. Best producer, best rapper, best artist, period. Not to mention he's from the best area in the country - the DMV!

Buy it and show him love.

Oddisee is extremely underrated. If you like Kanye and Little Wayne stay away from this, you won't get it.
If you appreciate Talib Kweli, Common, and the Roots, you should love this album.
