listen to that inner voice, December 7, 2010
This review is from: The People on the Hill (Mass Market Paperback)
this book grabbed me from the first page and would not let me go untill i
finished it.
it is the story of a premeditated murder(to cover up ANOTHER crime),that is then
"hushed up" by the killer and a group of friends("friends" who-for their'own
selfish or self serving reasons-keep silent)...leading to the the night when a
young lady returns to the place where they all meet to walk their' dogs and she
senses something is very wrong but, what?!?!
all the dialog is smart and it has well rounded characters. some characters
returning(in memory) to the first time he/she met the murderer and why he has
a hold over each "friend"-each story being a bit different.
this is a great one from the late velda johnston.
