5.0 out of 5 stars Short, two-actor viginnetes a pleasure for all., May 18, 1999

This review is from: People Like Us: (Lillenas Drama) (Paperback)
"You can't blame me, Lord!"

Ever wonder what those seemingly ancient, distant people in well-known Bible stories really went through? Even though, because of the extraordinary circumstances surrounding them, they may seem distant and out-of-reach for today's men or women, they were all "People Like Us." They had emotions, needs, and desires.

Patricia Souder's gripping, charming, and poignant two-character depictions of historical Bible stories bring people like Adam, Barabbas, Sapphira, and John The Baptist to life. Written in poetic prose, the banter between characters is fascinating and grips the imagination.

This book/script makes an excellent choice for a 30-40 minute dramatic presentation in any venue, religiously-orientated or otherwise.

(Note: reviewer personally participated in a presentation of this script, and enjoyed it immensely.)

Patti Souder co-authored the book, you have completely failed to acknowledge the work of Jana Carman, who also wrote this book. Of course, she could just be recieving royalty checks in the mail for absolutely no reason.
