This review is from: A People and a Nation: A History of the United States, Volume 1: To 1877, Brief (Paperback)
The book was in excellent condition. It was in far better condition than the ones in the bookstore, which were selling for much more.

This review is from: A People and a Nation: A History of the United States, Volume 1: To 1877, Brief (Paperback)
This book was purchased for my daughter who is a Freshman in College. This is the exact book that she would have bought on campus. She received it in 3-4 days, and it was a discount price. That really helps a single parent these days. Thank you

The book is in good condition. Only the cover was creased, but I knew this when I ordered it. Overall, I am very pleased with the book. Thanks

A Plethora of Liberal Guilt,
This review is from: A People and a Nation: A History of the United States, Volume 1: To 1877, Brief (Paperback)
A plethora of questionable historic perspectives and rhetoric documented and portrayed as fact by authors who never take the time to site their sources anywhere in the book. This book is emblematic of all that consist of American liberal white guilt. The text lays the foundation for generations to come that will adopt and carry on the liberal agenda portrayed in this text that attribute all blame for the woes of our past upon European Americans today. It is sad that we students at the Pennsylvania State University have to learn this trash as a means of satisfying our a general educational requirements.
I'd advise anyone who reads this book to first research the authors and find out who your getting the information from. When you see who the authors are and look at what else they've published and did, the ultimate agenda of this text becomes common sense.

history class,
This review is from: A People and a Nation: Volume I to 1877 (Paperback)
For a textbook it's very readable and interesting.
I do not recommend the people I "ordered" this book from, as I never recieved it and had to go to the school bookstore to purchase it. So much for trying to save money. |
