"People Need The Lord" is an excellent CD. The title song reminds the faithful of their job here on earth, not to JUST be saved, but to share the Good News with everyone we meet. My husband and I both enjoy this music.

This CD features the song that made Steve Green an often used name in Christian music, "People Need the Lord". While many may marvel at Steve Green's God given voice, the lyrics of his songs are even more powerful. On this CD Steve and his wife Marijean challenge us to build our families as "A Household of Faith", so that those who come behind us will "Find Us Faithful". What a heritage to give to our children! "He Holds the Keys" has to be the most powerful song on this CD. In this song we are reminded of the power of the risen Christ to defeat Satan and his band of demons. The final outcome belongs to the Lord. This CD will not only be a real blessing to you, each song issues the challenge for us to be Godly in our everyday lives.

Owning this CD is like a dream come true. I would give it six stars if I could. It offers song after song after song of the best of Steve Green. These songs are so anointed and beautiful! This is a must have for Steve Green fans as well as those who just want music that will keep their minds stayed on the Lord. The only song missing that would make this CD absolutely perfect is "Symphony of Praise". When I find that on CD, my collection will be complete!!!

People Need the Lord is a collection of 16 of the best songs in Steve Green's first 10 years of ministry.

The songs are mainly oriented towards burdening Christians for people who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, other songs encourage the listener to reflect on the awesomeness of God.

Among my personal favorites are: People Need the Lord, God and God Alone, Broken and Spilled Out, He Holds the Keys, A Mighty Fortress, and I Know That My Redeemer Liveth. However, the other songs are fine also.

Highly recommended, I encourage readers to buy and enjoy for God's glory!

This CD by Steve Green is excellent. I believe he has one of the best voices in Christian music. It is very inspirational and his whole message is loving the Lord. You can't go wrong purchasing this CD.

One of the best Christian albums of all time. The song select for the album is unbelievable. Steve Green's vocal range is outstanding. You cannot keep from praising God while you listen to this album.

I know! It's 16 years old now (2010). Yes, the title cut was over-played. Yet...still 5+ stars. Don't believe me? Listen anew. 16 waves of inspiration will flood over you again. Each song seems better than the previous (maybe 2 exceptions). Something still happens inside me when I hear it.
When my listeners need a better sermon than the one I'm working on ( :>)) I play this album (14 cuts of it), and I am renewed. Green lifts us out of ourselves and plants us attentively in the kingdom of faith where the details of our spirituality, our deepest creeds, our assignments from God--all of the Christian life--become rich and full of thoughts not ours originally (God's!) but, nevertheless, thoughts now internalized into us as Spirit-lit Christians who go beyond the shallow, feel-good emotionalism of our age's formulaic, pablum-like, empty, stained glass echo chamber.
Renew thyself; listen again. It's not just Steve Green calling us back to the good stuff; I believe it's God.

This is a Great Cd I recommend it for anyone and very uplifting to encourage any person.

One of my favorite albums ever !!! I lost my first one and reordered. Love every song in it and it calms me and puts me in a spirit of worship and praise. Always leaves me with deep peace and a spirit filled with joy.
