This is a really nice cd. It has great variety-- likely to please all different types of people. great tripped out echoing drums and buzzing, fluctuating organs that melt my insides. It's funky, raw, and so smooth. Nice different styles tossed around with songs like 9'0clock or 10'oclock or something which is a straight jazzy jam. I agree with the guy below that kc doppler is incredible. I love the drumming by gershoni, touching. If you like funky bass, heavy rotation throws it in your face. This is real hot trip-jazz. hip-hop fans should like it for the rawness, jazz fans will apreciate the solo's and sophistication, and junkies will like the trip. Where do these guys play live? If anyone knows, get back to me. Try out Greyboy-West Coast Boogaloo, its another one of my favorites.

This is an incredible CD which is recorded by LIVE MUSICIANS! Most of the tracks feature the Juno bass, an incredible low-toned instrument. The keyboards are laid back and smooth and the sax adds a sophisticated touch. The drums are funky and range from straight ahead hip-hop to super funky off-time. Every song on this CD is great and you will definitely enjoy it.

This is a very versatile album-- it's appropriate for downtempo dancing and as background music to fit a variety of moods. The highlight, in my opinion is track 5, "KC Dopppler". It's a seamless blend of acoustic and electronic instruments that is always a crowd-pleaser. I have played this album for all types of people and every one has loved it. Buy one for yourself and one for a friend. They'll thank you for it.
