People and Portraits: Reflections and Essays,
By A Customer
This review is from: People and Portraits: Reflections and Essays (Hardcover)
Mr. McEwen's first book will appeal to everyone from novice to professional photographer. Even those not inclined toward photography will enjoy this book on the non-technical aspects of portrait photography. Mr. McEwen's writing style is straight-forward and easy to read. His experiences are told with honesty and humor. The photographs included in the book are fine examples of his work, and reflect his philosophy of creating simple, natural portraits. Once you start this book, you will not want to put it down. A wonderful first book for Mr. McEwen. I am looking forward to his next book!
