This review is from: People and Predators: From Conflict To Coexistence (Paperback)
For anyone interested in predators and people, this is a must-read book. This book has several chapters written by leading biologists that discuss the various situations predators and people have created for themselves. The research cited in this book ranges from foxes to wolves. As the human population grows, more and more habitat is lost to development. Predators, as a rule, usually have rather large home ranges (i.e., the places where they hunt, sleep, and live), and as their habitat dwindles, they are bound to encounter humans. This book is one of the first steps in addressing how we, as a species, must survive with wildlife.
