Buy this goddamn CD. These are important songs.

What the hell is should I even say?

There are few words to describe things left in the English language. And I don't know any other languages, besides some Spanish. And I do not know if asking where the bathrooms are would really be a complimentary thing to say about this CD.

Put less cleverly, AJJ is a stripped down, crazy, funny band and this CD offers the most fun per second (FPS) of any record you might purchase. Think They Might Be Giants if they cursed. Or, think of a guy furiously strumming a guitar and singing the following lines:

There's a rapist and a Nazi living in our tiny hearts
Child pornographers and cannibals, and politicians too

I have not regretted my purchase of this CD. I can only hope they continue to make me laugh and tap my foot as a symbol of enjoying the music.

This a great album and a great band, but don't buy it through Amazon. A new copy cost over $50 for new. Just go to the band's website and you can get it for $8. So unless sellers here have it for a decent price, get it somewhere else.

Call it Folk-Punk. These guys are the greatest lyricists working today--I don't know of any band that can be so simultaneously snarky, whimsical, and BRUTAL. Every one of these songs is funny and DARK and so true you might get a lump in your throat. This is a PERFECT record, one of those you can play from beginning to end and there's not a soggy patch to be found. One of the few albums I unreservedly recommend to EVERYONE.

Just in case anyone was confused what the two versions of this CD are, they're different recordings. This one is live, the other one isn't. They could be tagged more helpfully.
