This review is from: The People's Republic of Rock N' Roll (Audio CD)
One day my uncle gave me this, along with some other random old cassettes. There are definitely some laugable clunkers on this album (Mindless Boogie, Bigfoot Stole My Wife), but I found some suprisingly good songs among them, such as When Things Come True, New York Minute, and Whatchuwanna. Even some songs practically ruined by Stampfel's sub-par vocal abilities (Oh Rosie, Just One Yesterday) still contain some great writing, and you can tell that these guys were very ambitious and gave a great effort. Most songs have very memorable melodies that stuck with me through the years.
