Book Description

December 1, 1998 Wetfoot.Com Insider Guide
Do you want to know what a job in this industry is really like-and do you want to know it quickly? WetFeet has the best research (and writing) team in the business. WetFeet guides are the industry standard--based on thousands of insider interviews and written with humor and skill, our materials are recognized by candidates and companies alike as the insider guide of choice.

Ranked the 20th best place to work by Fortune, the number two enterprise resource planning (ERP) software company is famous for its culture. Its continued growth means more openings for job seekers, especially those with experience in software sales, development, and consulting. Though PeopleSoft has been around for more than ten years, it only started recruiting on-campus in 1997. Now qualified undergrads also have a shot at working in one of the most laid-back companies in the U.S. How can you find a spot on the PeopleSoft team?

In the Oracle report, you'll learn the answers to all of the following questions: * Who is Dave Duffield and why is he so important to the PeopleSoft culture? * What kind of person thrives at PeopleSoft? * How is PeopleSoft different from its competitors?* What exactly are recruiters looking for in candidates? * What do people like and dislike about working at PeopleSoft? * How much can you expect to make at PeopleSoft starting out? * What are the hot areas at PeopleSoft right now? * What is ERP, anyway, and why is it one of the fastest-growing segments of the software industry?

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"Considering a potential income of $70,000 per annum, an investment of $70 now is well worthwhile. This stuff really is a must have." (Columbia MBA)

"Congratulations on setting the standard for interviewing from here on out. I imagine that it's only a matter of time before interviewees whose unpreparedness is detected will hear (besides a ding) "Come on! You could have at least ordered the Wet Feet report!" (Stanford MBA)

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent! A must have for job seekers in the computer field, July 13, 1999
This review is from: Peoplesoft: The WetFeet.com Insider Guide (Wetfoot.Com Insider Guide) (Spiral-bound)
I bought this book because I was interested in learning about Peoplesoft. I learned all about how the company is run and what it is like to work there. I couldn't put it down. When I was finished I wanted to apply. These Wet Feet publishing books give you the info you are looking for but don't know how to find. It saved me a lot of researching. I just wish there were more of them.
