Music that is Better than the Sum of Their Influences, January 6, 2009

When i heard that Future Clouds and Radar were going to release a follow-up to their AMAZING two disc debut recording i was thrilled. This new one is amazing; as always i started by listening to it from beginning to end with my teenage daughter, in the home studio monitors.
It was hard for me to imagine building and improving upon the first CD's material, but they've done it.
Highly recommended to anybody interested in just plain interesting music. I've never reviewed a CD before, and this is just because Amazon asked me to following my purchase, so i won't try to use words like "Beatlesque" or "Power-Pop", because that is for others to do. I will simply say that this music strikes me as more interesting and rewarding to the listener than the sum of the band's influences, which are vast.
This music grows on you.
