Purchased this as a cutting board, as part of a decorating project for my parents kitchen, from 6,000 miles away. While they both declared it "fetching," it's too small to function as a proper cutting board, at 8 x 10. Additionally, the shipping costs was nearly as much as the product itself, bringing the full price to double what we have paid for larger, heavier, equally attractive boards.

The merchant wasn't interested in making this a better shopping experience, when I pointed out the shocking shipping costs for such a petite product. Thus, this turns out to be my least pleasant Amazon experience to date.

We have purchased other Chili items iwth the same pattern (place mats, kitchen mats, etc) so it fits perfectly with the rest. It is smaller than I would have liked and will have to see how the backing (picture) will hold up.

Our whole kitchen is in chili peppers, so this baby is right at home! It is absolutely gorgeous!! The colors are vibrant, and I have no complaints whatsoever. It is great as a cutting board or just as a decoration. You just can't go wrong with this item.
