I spotted this pepper mill on the TV reality show "Flipping Out" and wanted one instantly. I first found it at Crate & Barrel for $20. I was happy to find a set of both salt & pepper mills for $30 here. I gave a couple of sets to "foodies" as Christmas presents this year. The only reason I am grading 4-stars is for functionality. The thumb gear is a little tough for a woman to manage, otherwise I'd give them 5-stars for style.

these salt and pepper grinders are the perfect size. They are very handy in the kitchen, the salt grinds up very fine and I use the pepper grinder for white peppercorns. We have received many many compliments on the set, it would be nice if the price was a little lower and they were eligible for amazon prime shipping....they would make great gifts.
