I can't say enough positive things about Plantlife soaps.

I came to natural soaps for a very specific reason--a husband whose eczema was virtually out of control. For years, we'd tried keeping him on soaps designed for sensitive skin. While this would generally calm flare-ups slightly, it wouldn't prevent them from creeping up again. Admittedly, since beginning to use Plantlife's soaps, my husband is NOT eczema free... BUT his skin is drastically improved and his flare-ups are down to about 10% of what they once were.

The scents of Plantlife's soaps are remarkably pleasant too. I've yet to find one that is offensive to my nose--they're delicately done, not over-powering or too "perfume-y."

So if you're thinking of switching to herbal soaps to treat your skin to the best, most natural clean possible--try some Plantlife soaps. If you're simply looking for some aromatherapy or some way to mix-up your usual soap routine--try some Plantlife soaps. I'd be willing to bet that if you returned to "normal," store-bought soaps afterwards, you'd do so grudgingly and reluctantly!

This is a superior soap to any that I've ever used. Very aromatic and sudsy. Refreshing too! Excellent customer service!

First of all I was totally impressed to received the item so quickly!! I ordered it on Friday (12/14) and it arrived on Monday (12/17) so kuddos on that!! Everything is so natural, no perfumes or dyes that makes my skin dry. This so is so gentle on my skin.

This product is worth ordering!!!!! Enjoy the different scents.

This soap makes you feel tingly all over. Clean, fresh and tingly. It's such a treat to wash with and smells heavenly.

My only buggaboo is that I'm going to have to order more. As a dude in Afghanistan, I really try to take care of my skin, and this soap is wonderful. I use it as a wake-me-up shower soap in the morning. The smell is pleasant but light, not overwhelming like others can be, and the soft soap has a moisturizing, almost oil feel to it. It washes away clean, leaving a clean but not minty smell on the skin. I'm going to order some other scents, as this is a great product.

PROS
Peppermint scent is wonderful. Gives the entire bathroom that minty fresh smell that I wanted to complement the new mint green paint.

The packaging allows you to see the pretty, mint leaf soap before opening. It would be perfect for display(and use)in the guest bathroom.


CONS
Wish the scent were stronger. Takes the melting of a thin first layer of the oils before you really smell the mint. Afterward, the mint lingers in the bathroom but not on your skin. I wanted to smell minty but I smell like the oils.

Too expensive at more than $1/ounce, especially since the mint scent fades and the bar melts quickly.

Overall it's fine. It would be better with a larger bar or cheaper price.

UPDATE 2 months later

The bar maintains it's same level of potency per square inch despite the bar growing smaller, unlike Bronner's Magic Soap - Organic Pure Castile Bar Soap Peppermint - 5 oz.

This long-lasting scent in P&N's Peppermint Soap is probably due to the fact that the soap contains chunks of actual peppermint leaves which permeate the entire bar.

I'm changing my vote from 3 star to 4 star.

I ordered this soap with an Amazon gift card and could not be happier. The smell of the soap is utterly heavenly and it produces a great lather. I have one soap in my downstairs bathroom and I enjoy just walking past the bathroom to breath in the peppermint smell. Thank you for producing a wonderful natural product.

My husband found out that peppermint oil does wonders for diabetics and pregnant women when used on their feet. This soap makes my feet feel like they are coming alive. I feel so refreshed and it leaves my feet so soft and makes them feel so much better.

With other soaps it leaves red marks on my skin or I get very itchy, however with this herbal soap it does not! It smells sooo good that even when I am out the shower, I still have the aroma of peppermint on my body! Highly recommend it, even if you are not allergic to regular soaps, this soap option is a lot healthier anyway.

All the product from Plantlife are excellent . We have bought many of their products.
