I'm a very new fan of Owl City, but I am already die-hard. Adam Young/Owl City has a sound that is so different than any other band I have ever heard. He is my all time favorite singer, he is THE best. Peppermint Winter is everything Owl City: it has the sweet, dreamy quality, yet it still has Adam's fun side mixed in. He's clever with the lyrics. Not only does it prove that Adam has not lost his touch or the sound of Owl City, it's revamped the meaning of December, Winter, and Christmas Eve for this fan.
Peppermint Winter is the newest Owl City song, but it is the BEST, IMO. In 2 days, I listened to it 57 times. He's other songs are equally amazing (Dental Care, Fireflies, Vanilla Twilight, Hot Air Balloon, Captains of the Sky, Cave In, Technicolor Phase, ect.), but Peppermint Winter tops it all! A simple yet stunning must-have for any fan of Owl City. Trust me, it's a 99 cents well spent! I simply cannot wait till his next album is released. He is worth the money. This song will make you race, it'll make you want to shout, to jump, to fall on your face next time you're twirling around in your driveaway, and (of course) wish for 45 new pairs of socks for Christmas. :D

When it has came down to Owl City, they really have delivered very cheery songs since the breakout hit Fireflies last year. I really like a lot of the delightful songs that they've made through the cleverness of Adam making lovely songs. That goes as well, with the latest song from Owl City, Peppermint Winter. It really sounds absolutely adorable, and stays true to their sound, without feeling like it has been watered down. It really is a sweet escape for those who've gotten a little bit tired of those traditional holiday classics. I really am glad that Owl City has been making really good songs in this era where there have been so many artists with promise, instead having to make such cruddy songs like Rihanna and Ke$ha. Cheers to Owl City, and I hope there is much more from them down the road that feels sweet like it will be a peppermint winter all year long.
