Active Ingredient: Bismuth Subsalicylate (262 mg, 99 mg of salicylate per caplet).
Inactive Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate, Magnesium Stearate, Mannitol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Polysorbate 80, Povidone, Red 27 Aluminum Lake, Silicon Dioxide, Sodium Starch Glycolate.
Adults and children age 12 and over: 2 caplets.
Children: 9 to11 years, 1 caplet; 6 to 9 years, 2/3 caplet; 3 to 6 years, 1/3 caplet; under 3, ask a doctor. Swallow caplets with water; do not chew. Repeat every 1/2 to 1 hour as needed. Do not consume more than 8 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. To help prevent dehydration which may accompany diarrhea, drink plenty of clear fluids.
Do not use for children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu. If nausea or vomiting occurs, ask a doctor because this could be an early sign of Reye Syndrome, rare but serious illness. This product contains salicylates (but does not contain aspirin). Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates, including aspirin. If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day, ask whether you should take salicylates, including Pepto-Bismol. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking medications for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, or gout. Stop use and ask a doctor: if ringing in the ears occurs when taken with other salicylates, such as aspirin; when diarrhea occurs with a fever or lasts more than 2 days; when other symptoms last more than 2 weeks. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Pepto-Bismol may cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the tongue or stool. Avoid excessive heat (over 104 degrees Fahrenheit, 40 degrees Celsius).

Great stuff here. Works great when I'm sick with a stomach ache or getting over a tough hangover. Although getting them down with them being powder based is annoying at times.Published 1 month ago by kstate27
