Warnings
Do not use for children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu. If nausea or vomiting occurs, ask a doctor because this could be an early sign of Reye Syndrome, rare but serious illness. This product contains salicylates (but does not contain aspirin). Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates, including aspirin. If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day, ask whether you should take salicylates, including Pepto-Bismol. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking medications for anticoagulation (thinning the blood), diabetes, or gout. Stop use and ask a doctor: if ringing in the ears occurs when taken with other salicylates, such as aspirin; when diarrhea occurs with a fever or lasts more than 2 days; when other symptoms last more than 2 weeks. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Pepto-Bismol may cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the tongue or stool. Avoid excessive heat (over 104 degrees Fahrenheit, 40 degrees Celsius).

Convenient Chewable Tablets,
By
This review is from: Pepto-Bismol Upset Stomach Reliever/Antidiarrheal Chewable Tablets, Cherry Flavor, 48-Count Boxes (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
Pepto-Bismol tablets are convenient for travel or to keep in your car, purse, desk or locker at work. Tablets are easier to store, easier to measure out and less messy than the traditional liquid Pepto-Bismol. Each package of 48 tablets is 24 adult doses. Each pack of 48 is enough to see you through a 3-day bout of diarrhea since the maximum daily dose is 8 doses in a 24 hour period. Read the additional package warnings or consult "medline plus" for further information.
Keep in mind that you should stop use and contact your doctor if diarrhea lasts more than two days according to the package directions. The total of 144 tablets is equivalent to 72 ounces of regular strength Pepto-Bismol (six 12-oz bottles) and is thus enough to cover almost 10 days of full blow digestive upset.
