all right by me !!!,
By Matthew G. Sherwin (last seen screaming at Amazon customer service) - See all my reviews (TOP 100 REVIEWER) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE)
This review is from: Pepto-Bismol Upset Stomach Reliever/Antidiarrheal Liquid, Regular Strength, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
Unfortunately, I have been suffering from a lot of stomach trouble; and I was pleasantly surprised by just how well Peptol-Bismol was able to help me feel better. I was in a lot of pain and I therefore though this product would be too weak and to do much to relieve my discomfort; but I was wrong! The plastic cup that comes with the bottle (which is on the top until you remove the safety seal) is very helpful when it comes to measuring out dosages for adults and children; and you can clean it pretty easily after you use it just by rinsing it in water. I began to feel the relief in my stomach really fast after taking a dose although the full "soothing" effect takes a while longer; and I experienced the same positive effect when I needed to use this again. Great! Of course, there are precautions and caveats. This won't help everyone as the label indicates. Read the label and ask your doctor before using if you have any concerns. Overall, this gets an A in my book for giving me relief from an upset stomach and diarrhea.

SWITCH TO CAPLETS IF SACCHARIN IS NOT YOUR "STYLE",
By Vivaldi (Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Pepto-Bismol Upset Stomach Reliever/Antidiarrheal Liquid, Regular Strength, 16-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
This prep made me ill, severe headaches and more until I contacted the doctor who figured it out right away. It was the Saccharine in it; no doubt to flavor the pseudo-cherry flavoring, however, in reviewing the product there is no mention of "Saccharin" except in those supplies "Made in Mexico." Other descriptions don't list it and do not mention where it is made. One has to conclude it's all made in Mexico! The caplets do not seem to be loaded with Saccharine, and in most countries that additive, although not filed with FDA as a "food" is still verboten, and simply not healthy for any human, much less animals. With a rare GI disorder, I just won't take anything that isn't benign for human injestion, much less DI-gestion! Labeling in the USA is highly regulated and this product should follow the law.
