My son loves this book. The pictures are similar to the show and he recognizes characters quickly and has started making up his own stories with his choo-choos.

My son is just over 3 and is more of a lots of pictures a little less on the words kid when it comes to books. This has book has several good stories in it, and might be better for a slightly older child or one with a better attention span! The pictures are stills from the series and my son also seems to like the books with drawings a bit more - all that being said he does enjoy the book but it is not his favorite.

Easy to read, with enough images to hold a typical 2 year old's attention. Has a few short stories. A good addition to our son's Thomas collection.

for some reason, this is my kid's favorite. I don't know why, with all the other books he has (even from the same series), this is the one he wants to read over, and over again. (I'm actually pretty sick of stupid "chocolate percy", but he loves it.) The book itself is small, with three short stories, and the plot lines are kind of banal, but you're not looking for war and peace. It's a kid's book, for goodness' sake!

We received our book on time and when it was opened our 3 year old took to it right away.Easy reading and understanding.He says to read again and again Enjoy

My 2 year old grandson loves this book. I especially like that the video set I ordered has the Chocolate Crunch story on it since it is one of his favorites. It is an inexpensive paper covered children's book that you can keep in the car or diaper bag for easy, portable entertainment.

I had high hopes for this book because my son likes trains and chocolate. I thought the pictures would look similar to his other Thomas the Train books but they didn't. The colors were very muted and the trains small. Plus there was way too many words to read to a 3 year old. I don't think the story was that interesting to read. Anyway, I should have read closers that there were a couple of other stories in this book and not just the one cholocate crunch story. Therefore, my son got lost in this book and thought the train looked old and dirty and not covered in chocolate. The front cover picture actually looks better than what is inside.

Percy is my son's favorite Thomas train. He really liked this one, because Percy gets all dirty. It's a cute story.
