I'm already dead,
This review is from: Perdition Insanabilis (Audio CD)
I felt as though Satan himself was staring up through the packaging of my brand spanking copy of Perdition Insanabilis, and from the moment it hit my CD player to the moment it ended I felt as though I'd been repeatedly beaten.
This is Arkhon Infaustus at their most ruthless, their most satanic and their most brutal. They pull no punches, they make no apologies, and all I can say is it's a totally satisfying album for any black blooded satanic metal fan. I cant describe their songwriting style as anything but `Hell Metal'. Plenty of those sinister sounding progressions, a brilliant drum mix (and a violent drummer), the intensity matches their live presence (finally!). I particularly enjoy raising my fist and playing this CD at top volume around the city, watching the mum's and commuters piss their trousers as hells black light spills from my car. They raised the bar in terms of songwriting, recording quality, and lyrical content. In previous releases I always thought the English to be somewhat questionable, so I was very critical, but alas, no floors! In short, this album is something you should at least experience, I understand there will be disappointed fans, as with any release, but I don't see a mass movement of death threats and CD burnings (unless from the church or God himself), so buy this and die a painful death.

damn,
By Jason "hammersmashedface" (Sin City) - See all my reviews

This album is alot more mature and contains more experienced...everything when compared to older releases. The reviewer before was right, this album is insanely aggressive and vile. Every song is like experiencing a shovel to the teeth. The growling itself is so deep and curdled it almost sounds like backwards chanting. The guitars are very well arranged and played with a furosity that litteraly peels your flesh off and fills the wound with salt. The drumming is pretty typical when you look at the Black/Death genre of music, so you expect it to be very chaotic and fast. The best part is the fact that there's actually a Throwndown-style sorta breakdown in the song "Profanis Codex LXVI", which is so nicely exicuted, it makes you wanna go out and start a fight. Arkhon Infaustus will never dissapoint.
