I have to admit I love old salsa songs (I'm 36 from Venezuela and adore Oscar D'Leon, Dimension Latina, Ismael Rivera, Hector Lavoe), but I must recognize that Luis Enrique and Gilberto Santa Rosa mean the best of the second generation of salsa A must for a salsa rhythm lover!

I never buy a CD unless I listen to all the songs first, because every time I do that I only like one song from the CD. I most say this is a GREAT CD for anyone's collection. I love all the songs and the more I listen to the CD the more I like the songs.
I recommend this CD to any True Salsa lover ;-)

I speak spanish, so you must try to excuse my mistakes. I think this CD is great, and it most be in every personal collection. Also Gilberto Santa Rosa is an excellent salsa singer

This CD is a collection of of Santa Rosa's most beautiful and elegant salsa songs. I highly recommend this album. Gilberto Santa Rosa is with good reason called "el caballero de la salsa" (the gentleman of salsa). These are some of the most romantic and elegant songs this genre has to offer. Reminds me of a trip to NYC! which is where Gilberto has had some of his best performances and likely, along with Puerto Rico, the inspiration for much of his music....Enjoy.

I love Gilberto Santa Rosa's voice. He is the King of SALSA not the Prince.
Must of the songs on this record became Num.1 hits. He is the best romantic Salsa singer of all times, his songs are meaningful, not bad nasty stuff like other sing now a days and dare to call it music. His music is about meaninful romantic lyrics and he pocesses a beautiful voice.
